 Commemorating the birth day of great Indian mathematician Mr. Srinivasa Ramanujan, the Department of Mathematics at M S Dhoni Global School, Hosur took initiative to observe the day with true spirit and enthusiasm. Maths is forever, an integrated part of life and is also known as the mother of all sciences. In order to celebrate this facet, the school had taken initiative to celebrate National Mathematics Day on 22nd December 2022 through an array of skits, art integration with math like Bharathanatyam, a song on the Laws of exponents, formation of geometry through silambam, yoga, and display boards.

The idea behind the celebration was to allow the students to enhance their numerical, logical and thinking skills. The event began with a short speech on Ramanujan’s life and his contribution to mathematics narrating the fascinating works of the great mathematician.

A Wall of math was built by the students to showcase the fundamentals of mathematics that can be universally applied.
